You will need to eliminate the existing ballast on your light fixture and run the power directly to the existing socket. Please ask a professional electrician for help. Or if you have an existing fixture using a Fluorescent E39 bulb or a Mogul base E39 incandescent bulb, just remove and replace with this Very Bright LED Bulb. Please be aware that this lamp is very bright and for best results, use on an elevated post/pole 12 feet or taller . If used on a shorter pole, it may be too bright for eye level.
